      Gentle Learn the principles of safe alignment, breathing, and attuning to your inner self. For beginners or anyone wanting a more relaxed practice.
   
   Moderate    Basic knowledge of posture and breathing recommended. Learn a fuller range of postures with longer holding times and pranayama for specific benefits.
   
  Vigorous A challenging practice to further strengthen the body and build endurance while adapting the breath. Some vinyasa (flow) sequences and free flow meditation in motion.

ANUSARA YOGA – A school of hatha yoga that unifies a life-affirming Tantric philosophy with bio-mechanical principles of alignment and a celebration of the heart.

IYENGAR YOGA – Building around a weekly theme, this class focuses on internal and external alignment through a combination of static asana and vinyasa flow.
 
  Restorative+ Relaxation RESTORATIVE + RELAXATION – A gentle practice of supported yoga postures and breathing techniques, counteracting the effects of stress on the immune system. Active relaxation moving body, mind and spirit toward balance.

Flow
VINYASA FLOWA continuous flow of yoga postures linked together by the breath, emphasizing sun salutations and other creative flows, that build life force energy. Prior yoga experience is recommended

COMMUNITY MEDITATION PRACTICE
Sunday mornings at 10am
We come together and begin by listening to dharma talks from various teachers
and traditions, take a silent break for personal stretching or walking, followed
by a 30 minute formal seated meditation practice.

EXPLORATIONS IN THE BALANCE OF OPPOSITES

One of the meanings of yoga is to yoke or unite our polarities so they do not fight and contradict each other, but they are instead complimentary opposites that serve to make us more whole and balanced in our lives. In a variety of poses, including inversions and backbends, we will look at many polarities and use them to align the physical, emotional and mental body in a precise and life affirming way. Anusara Yoga helps us to see the joy in both our unity and diversity. All levels of practice are invited.
